Accreditations and compliance
The registrations, certificates and documents that clients and main contractors ask for before work starts.
Our accreditations
Independent schemes that assess our work. Registration numbers and certificates are provided on request, so clients and main contractors can check us on each register.
NICEIC Approved Contractor
NICEIC assesses electrical contractors against BS 7671, the national standard for electrical installations, and checks their work on a regular basis.
Gas Safe Registered
Gas Safe Register is the official list of businesses legally allowed to carry out gas work in the UK. Every engineer carries a Gas Safe ID card that can be checked.
MCS Certified
MCS certifies installers of small scale renewable energy technologies against recognised standards for quality and installation. Our certification covers air source heat pumps, which is what the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant requires.
WIAPS Approved
The Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme recognises plumbers who are competent to install water fittings in line with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations.
RECC Member
The Renewable Energy Consumer Code sets standards for how members deal with domestic customers, from quotations and contracts to handling complaints.
Certificates we issue
Every job is handed over with the certificate the work requires.
Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC)
Issued for new electrical installations and new circuits.
Minor Electrical Installation Works certificate
Issued for alterations and additions to an existing circuit.
Emergency lighting certificate
Issued for new and replacement emergency lighting installations.
Electrical installation condition report (EICR)
A report on the condition of an existing electrical installation, with coded observations.
Insurance and health and safety
Public liability insurance
We hold public liability insurance. A copy of the certificate is available on request.
Employers' liability insurance
We hold employers' liability insurance. A copy of the certificate is available on request.
Risk assessments and method statements
We provide RAMS for the work we carry out, so managing agents and main contractors have them on file before we start on site.
